Swine flu hit India this august and almost around 25 people have died from this disease. It also affected the college and schools of my city to be shut down for a week. So what do you do when you are not allowed to go outside because of a disease and shut inside your house for 7 days??

My answer? Paint! Sketch! Draw!!:))

The remaining days I saw movies in my brother's laptop.

OK this is the painting that I made.


Its not exactly a painting. The idea jumped to my mind out of nowhere. I was thinking what to draw when suddenly I saw a girl, facing the wind, holding some flowers and smiling a little. Imagining is something and depicting that on a paper is another. I am good at drawing face and hair but not that good in drawing clothes and especially fingers. Anyway, I tried, and am glad it doesn't look weird.

I have used mix media. Drawn with a regular pencil. Background and base with water colour. Then used pencil colours for finishing.

My First Blog!!!

OK. So this is my first blog. My brother advised me to start one to post my drawings and my poems. Well, its actually been almost three to four months since he said that. I tend to forget things:))

So, around fifteen minutes ago, I thought of seeing what my bro had posted new, when I suddenly remembered his advise. so I created a blog. I have to think about what I will post. Maybe drawings and my thoughts on random things!! Oh, well. I guess this is enough for the first post. Don't know if anyone is really going to read this!
